Adjunct Instructor – Introduction to Criminal Justice

About the role
Endicott College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach Introduction to Criminal Justice (CJ100-02) during the Fall semester. The course runs from September 1 to December 18, meeting three times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) from 9:00 am to 9:50 am on campus.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver in‑person lectures for the assigned class schedule.
- Follow Endicott’s academic policies and faculty handbook.
- Use Canvas as the learning management system for course materials, assignments, and communication.
- Verify class rosters, submit grades on time, and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with the dean or administrators regarding any teaching issues.
- Provide assistance to students upon request and share sample student work for assessment purposes.
- Use the official Endicott email for all external communications with students.
Required profile
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- College‑level teaching experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Canvas (Learning Management System).
