About the role
The University of Southern Mississippi seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to support higher‑education courses within the College of Education and Human Sciences. The position involves teaching up to six credit hours per semester, focusing on finance, law, and leadership topics for undergraduate and graduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in both traditional classroom and online formats.
- Design, administer, and grade assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal faculty and external stakeholders to enhance course content.
- Maintain course materials and adhere to university academic policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by department leadership.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree in Higher Education (required for graduate‑level teaching).
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without visa sponsorship.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
