Adjunct Instructor – Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (Hybrid)

About the role

The Texas A&M International University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program seeks qualified part‑time Adjunct Instructors to teach on a per‑semester basis. This hybrid position combines classroom instruction with immersive laboratory experiences for graduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate immersive laboratory sessions and assist with hands‑on instruction.
• Teach didactic courses covering anatomy, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuroscience, diagnostic imaging, and clinical management of various conditions.
• Manage course administration tasks such as grading, uploading assessments, maintaining lecture modules, and meeting census and grade deadlines.
• Provide timely feedback to students and support their academic progress.

Required profile

• Earned Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or related doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current, active, unencumbered PT license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated expertise in the assigned teaching content area.
• Contemporary clinical experience and ongoing professional development (preferred).
• Board certification through ABPTS or other specialty certifications (preferred).

• Physical therapy clinical knowledge (e.g., musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary care).
• Laboratory instruction and hands‑on teaching techniques.
• Course administration and grading systems.
