Adjunct Instructor – Doctor of Physical Therapy (Hybrid)

About the role

The Texas A&M International University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program seeks part‑time Adjunct Instructors to teach on a per‑semester basis. This hybrid position blends online instruction with hands‑on laboratory experiences, supporting the development of future physical therapists.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate immersive laboratory sessions and assist with lab instruction.
• Teach didactic courses covering anatomy, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuroscience, diagnostic imaging, and related clinical topics.
• Prepare and upload course materials, assessments, and lecture modules.
• Grade student work, submit grades promptly, and meet census and grading deadlines.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students as needed.

Required profile

• Earned Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current, active, unencumbered physical therapist license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated expertise in the subject areas assigned for instruction.
• Contemporary clinical experience and evidence of ongoing professional development (preferred).
• Board certification through ABPTS or related specialty certifications (preferred).
