Adjunct Instructor – Automotive Technology (BHI)

About the role

The College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Automotive Technology courses, including the BHI program. You will deliver hands‑on instruction, assess student performance, and maintain course records while supporting a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction in automotive technology courses following the approved syllabus.
• Demonstrate effective teaching techniques and clear oral and written communication.
• Administer testing, grade assignments, and maintain accurate grade books and records.
• Prepare reports, invoices, and inventory logs for assigned equipment and tools.
• Utilize advanced automotive equipment and maintenance/repair tools in the classroom.

Required profile

• Active ASE Master Certification.
• Diploma or higher in a relevant teaching discipline, or equivalent in‑field certifications, or at least three years of industry experience.
• Commitment to supporting students from under‑represented gender, minority groups, and those with disabilities.

Required skills

• Automotive technology knowledge.
• ASE Master Certification.
