Adjunct Faculty – Occupational Therapy

About the role

The Adjunct Faculty member in Occupational Therapy prepares and delivers course content using a variety of teaching methods and assessments, both on campus and online, to support student learning and mastery of objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned occupational therapy courses on campus, delivering content, preparing lesson plans, grading work, and providing timely feedback.
• Teach assigned courses online using the university’s Learning Management System, creating and managing course materials, activities, and assessments.
• Maintain the course site in the LMS, update the grade center, and ensure accurate student attendance and performance records.
• Distribute university‑approved syllabi and communicate early with students, department chairs, and counselors for at‑risk learners.
• Refer students to appropriate university support services and populate faculty information systems with teaching credentials.
• Attend faculty orientation, meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Learning Management System (LMS) for course delivery and grade management.
