Adjunct Faculty – Nurse Aide Program

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Ogeechee Technical College, seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver instruction for the Nurse Aide Program. This part‑time teaching role supports student success across face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop weekly learning plans aligned with Student Learning Outcomes.
• Prepare and update course syllabi and Blackboard course sites.
• Deliver instruction using effective oral and written communication.
• Assess student progress and submit grades, attendance, and related documentation.
• Maintain classroom supplies and ensure compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Active Georgia LPN or RN license.
• Minimum three years of full‑time nursing experience.
• Completion of the Train‑the‑Trainer Workshop from Alliant Health Solutions.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Blackboard Learning Management System.
