About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty to join its dynamic teaching team. This fixed‑term, part‑time position offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality instruction to a diverse student body across a range of undergraduate and graduate programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver course lectures, labs, and seminars in assigned subject areas.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials aligned with university standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Earned graduate degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage a diverse student population.
• Commitment to the university’s mission of inclusive, hands‑on learning.
