Adjunct Faculty – Graphic Design

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Graphic Design courses. This fixed‑term position supports the university’s mission to provide hands‑on, transformative learning experiences for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate Graphic Design curriculum, including lectures, labs, and projects.
• Create syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials aligned with program standards.
• Grade assignments, provide constructive feedback, and evaluate student performance.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career pathways.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate emerging design tools into coursework.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Graphic Design or a closely related field.
