About the role

The Department of General Business at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach introductory undergraduate courses in General Business. This part‑time position supports first‑year students through classroom instruction, mentorship and active learning strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver introductory General Business courses in classroom, online or hybrid formats.
  • Teach the contracted number of credit hours each term.
  • Assess student performance against curricular objectives and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create an engaging, supportive learning environment for first‑year undergraduates.
  • Maintain regular office hours and be accessible for student mentorship.
  • Prepare course materials and manage administrative duties related to instruction.

Required profile

  • Master’s degree or higher (e.g., Ed.D., Ph.D.) in Business or a related field, or significant industry experience.
