About the role
Gwinnett Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Faculty member to teach cybersecurity courses. The position is non‑benefited, FLSA exempt, and compensated via a lump‑sum payment based on contact hours taught. You will join a state‑wide education system dedicated to serving Georgia’s citizens.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lecture and lab material for cybersecurity courses.
- Develop lesson plans for classroom or online instruction.
- Evaluate student progress toward learning objectives.
- Maintain required documentation and administrative reports.
- Support recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours (or a Master’s degree).
- Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity.
- CISSP and/or Security+ certifications are preferred.
