About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member on a contingent‑worker basis to supervise and evaluate psychiatry Forensic Fellows at Arkansas State Hospital. This volunteer faculty position supports the residency education program and contributes to the training of future forensic psychiatrists.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision of psychiatry Forensic Fellows during their clinical rotations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and give constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the PSY Residency Education Coordinators to ensure curriculum alignment.
- Maintain documentation required for accreditation and program reporting.
Required profile
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible psychiatrist with expertise in forensic psychiatry.
- Approved JFR (Joint Faculty Review) status.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
