Adjunct Faculty – Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking two part‑time Adjunct Faculty members to teach Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) courses. This position involves classroom, lab, and clinical instruction for a 7‑week semester.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays, totaling 66 hours per semester.
• Provide clinical instruction for one week, totaling 24 hours per semester.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials.
• Ensure compliance with state‑approved instructor requirements, including uniform and safety footwear.
• Collaborate with the Program Director of Patient Care and Program Coordinator.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN or LPN license.
• Minimum two years of full‑time paid nursing experience within the past five years, with at least one year in long‑term care.
• Train‑the‑Trainer certification approved by Alliant Health GMCF.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug testing.

Required skills

• Train‑the‑Trainer certification.
