Adjunct Faculty – Auto Collision Repair

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to lead its Auto Collision Repair program. This position involves delivering classroom instruction, supervising hands‑on labs, and supporting student success in a vocational technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for credited auto collision courses.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on technical competencies.
• Maintain program certification standards and prepare required documentation.
• Manage classroom supplies, equipment, and budget requests.
• Ensure safety and security in the training area.
• Participate in recruitment, retention, and job placement activities.

Required profile

• Current ASE Master Collision Repair Technician certification.
• Minimum three years of professional auto collision repair experience.
• Associate’s degree in auto collision repair or related field (preferred).
• Ability to obtain or hold I‑CAR Platinum certifications.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• ASE Master Collision Repair Technician certification.
• I‑CAR Platinum Pro Level 1 Non‑Structural Repair Technician certification.
• I‑CAR Platinum Pro Level 1 Refinishing Technician certification.
• Basic computer proficiency.
