About the role
The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks a part‑time adjunct faculty member to teach courses within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. This fixed‑term position supports undergraduate education and contributes to the department’s academic mission.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in the arts, humanities, or social sciences.
- Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
- Assess student performance, assign grades, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain regular office hours and advise students as needed.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a closely related field (or equivalent life experience).
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the college level; prior teaching experience is preferred.
