Adjunct Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor

About the role

The Technical College System of Georgia seeks an Adjunct Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor to deliver classroom instruction for its sonography program. This part‑time faculty member will guide students toward achieving program goals while supporting accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, course outlines, and syllabi for Diagnostic Medical Sonography courses.
• Develop goals and objectives, evaluate student progress, and provide feedback.
• Maintain classroom supplies, equipment, and assist with budget requests.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Sonography or a closely related field.
• Two years of paid clinical experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer (abdomen, obstetric, gynecologic, superficial parts).
• National certification by ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and prior post‑secondary teaching experience.
