About the role

Savannah Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Dental Hygiene Instructor to teach dental hygiene courses on the Savannah campus. The position reports to the Dean for Health Sciences and the Department Head of the Dental Hygiene Program.

Key responsibilities

  • Instruct students in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings using appropriate teaching methods.
  • Develop lesson plans, curricula, and assessments for dental hygiene courses.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate cooperative work‑experience programs and participate in advisory committee meetings.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current Georgia dental or dental hygiene license (unencumbered) and CPR certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Required skills

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
