About the role
Join Central Georgia Technical College as an Adjunct Culinary Arts Instructor, providing hands‑on culinary education to inmates at Pulaski State Prison. This part‑time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working within a supportive state‑government environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in culinary arts following the approved course syllabus.
- Maintain grade books, evaluate student progress, and provide feedback.
- Complete reports, records, and invoices promptly and manage inventory of assigned property.
- Attend required professional development and collaborate with college personnel.
- Adhere to Technical College System of Georgia policies, accreditation standards, and Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice regulations.
- Travel to satellite locations within the college’s service area as needed.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of employment in the culinary field.
- ServSafe certification.
- Ability to upload transcripts showing conferred degrees and relevant qualifications.
- Compliance with TCSG policy manual and accreditation requirements.
