Adjunct Culinary Arts Instructor – Dual Enrollment (Walker Launch)

About the role

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Culinary Arts to high‑school students enrolled in the Walker Launch dual‑enrollment program at the Walker County Campus. The role involves face‑to‑face classroom instruction and coordination with the Dean of Business and Public Service Technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials for credited culinary courses.
• Deliver classroom instruction and assess student progress.
• Maintain program certification, safety, and equipment budgets.
• Prepare required documentation, reports, and administrative records.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and other educators on instructional matters.
• Support recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts.
• Minimum five years of food‑service experience or two years in a supervisory/management role.
• ServSafe certification (National Restaurant Association) or equivalent industry certification.

Required skills

• ServSafe certification.
