Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join the State of Georgia as a part‑time Adjunct Instructor in the Cosmetology program, delivering hands‑on training to aspiring cosmetology professionals. This role supports students in developing practical skills while meeting state accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction and practical demonstrations for cosmetology courses.
• Maintain accurate student records and grading documentation.
• Perform additional duties related to curriculum delivery and program administration.

Required profile

• Degree from an accredited college/university with coursework comparable to the taught curriculum, or equivalent professional expertise.
• Current Georgia cosmetology license.
• At least three years of recent in‑field cosmetology experience (within the past seven years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Associate degree, post‑secondary teaching experience, involvement in professional organizations, supervisory experience.
