Adjunct Construction Management Technology Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Construction Management Technology Instructor to teach courses in its Construction Management program. This term‑based position offers the chance to share industry expertise with future professionals while contributing to the state’s educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Construction Management courses.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication of current construction and carpentry procedures.
• Develop program syllabi, goals, and objectives aligned with accreditation standards.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on learning outcomes.
• Request and maintain necessary supplies, equipment, and instructional materials.
• Create course outlines, class presentations, and ensure compliance with institutional and TCSG standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related construction technology field.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant construction industry experience, including use of computer‑aided drafting and design software.
• Post‑secondary teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience with distance‑education delivery and educational technology is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as OSHA, LEED, AIC, or Home Builders Association are desirable.
