Actuary II – Personal Auto Predictive Modeling (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Actuary II to lead the development and maintenance of personal auto predictive models for multiple U.S. states. The role blends actuarial expertise with advanced coding to drive model innovation, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain actuarial pricing models that meet state‑specific regulatory and business requirements.
• Automate data pipelines and model workflows using SQL and Python to improve scalability and consistency.
• Integrate new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance model performance and generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align assumptions, inputs and outputs.
• Oversee model documentation, validation, and compliance processes.
• Mentor junior modelers and promote technical best practices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure models remain up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in personal auto pricing/modeling, with at least one year of hands‑on model development.
• Passage of at least three CAS exams (MAS‑I/MAS‑II preferred).

Required skills

• Strong programming proficiency in SQL.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python.
