Actuaries Intern – Management Consulting – Workforce Solutions (Summer 2027)

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience in PwC's Management Consulting practice, focusing on workforce solutions and employee benefit programs. You will work alongside experienced consultants to support the design, analysis, and administration of benefits that attract and retain talent.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and management of employee benefit programs.
• Participate in benchmarking studies to identify best‑practice benefits solutions.
• Conduct benefit plan analyses and recommend cost‑saving or compliance improvements.
• Assist with benefits administration, including new‑hire enrollment and plan communication.
• Engage in agile performance measurement to track benefits delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data for strategic decision‑making.
• Observe and learn PwC’s consulting methodologies and practices.
• Apply a learning mindset to develop personal skills and contribute to team success.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Actuarial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Typically in the 3rd year of a 4‑year program or 4th year of a 5‑year program, available for a summer internship before graduation.
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass actuarial exams before full‑time employment.
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.3 and major GPA of 3.3.
