About the role

Join PwC’s Actuarial Services team as a Summer 2027 Risk Modeling Intern in Rosemont, IL. You will gain hands‑on experience in risk and compliance, supporting the development and validation of actuarial models that help clients manage financial and operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Support teams in building and validating risk models for financial and operational risk management.
• Participate in complex data‑analysis projects to extract insights.
• Assist in applying actuarial techniques to assess risk across various industries.
• Conduct financial risk analysis to evaluate uncertainties in decision‑making.
• Help prepare and present financial reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to implement risk‑model solutions.
• Observe and learn from experienced risk and compliance professionals.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Commitment to meet PwC’s educational requirements and to sit for actuarial exams before full‑time employment.
• Typically a third‑year student in a four‑year program or fourth‑year in a five‑year program.
