Acquisitions & Asset Management Analyst

About the role

Pine Management, Inc., a seasoned real‑estate owner and operator of multifamily properties in New York City, is seeking an Acquisitions & Asset Management Analyst to join its Manhattan office. The analyst will support a full spectrum of investment activities, from acquisition underwriting to ongoing asset oversight, working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze offering memorandums, conduct site inspections and underwrite potential acquisitions using detailed Excel models, including promote structures and return waterfalls.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes (legal, financial, physical) and prepare investment packages and business‑plan documentation.
• Negotiate purchase‑sale agreements, loan documents and related contracts in partnership with counsel.
• Develop and execute asset‑level strategies to maximize value, overseeing leasing, construction, operations, financing and financial reporting.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, KPIs, and performance reports; monitor actual results against projections and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics or related field with GPA ≥ 3.5; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3 + years of real‑estate experience, preferably in New York City multifamily acquisitions and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of real‑estate finance, law and accounting.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
• Financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
