ACM Consultant (S) – US Accommodations

About the role

The ACM Consultant provides end‑to‑end case management for accommodation requests related to life events, ensuring employees receive the appropriate benefits and support throughout their leave or disability period. This individual contributor role serves as the single point of contact for employees, guiding them through complex processes and fostering a trusted experience.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and respond to employee inquiries about accommodation events, benefits, and options.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned employees, reviewing medical documentation in compliance with federal, state, and Amazon policies.
• Leverage Amazon guidelines and best‑practice tools to oversee accommodation cases and adjust plans as employee needs evolve.
• Address sensitive situations, troubleshoot issues, and remove barriers before, during, and after leave events.
• Communicate regular updates to employees and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Ensure compliance with standard work, regulations, and company policy while maintaining accurate system records.
• Collaborate with third‑party administrators, HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and other relevant teams.
• Educate managers and business partners on employee concerns and return‑to‑work processes.

Required profile

• Individual contributor with strong case‑management capabilities.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal and state accommodation regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver comfortable handling sensitive employee situations.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and accurate documentation.
