Accounting Manager

About the role

Plasmidsaurus is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its global accounting operations as the company expands across the US, Europe, and Asia. Reporting to the Controller, you will own the month‑end close, inventory accounting, and the implementation of a new AI‑native ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Own the consolidated global month‑end close for US and international subsidiaries.
• Manage inventory accounting, tracking supplies and on‑hand inventory as the new inventory management system goes live.
• Serve as system owner of the Rillet ERP, leveraging its features and modules.
• Ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accounting compliance, building schedules and documentation.
• Oversee stock‑based compensation accounting and related workflows in Carta.
• Run end‑to‑end accounts payable, collaborating with procurement and AR teams for cash‑flow efficiency.
• Maintain audit‑ready processes and documentation, partnering with the Controller and external auditors.
• Act as primary contact for local accounting firms of foreign entities, handling consolidation and statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Hands‑on accounting experience with a focus on building finance infrastructure.
• Experience managing global month‑end close and inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Familiarity with stock‑based compensation accounting.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with procurement, AR, and external auditors.
