Accounting Manager – Financial Close & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The role will oversee ledger integrity, journal entry preparation, and coordinate audit activities while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly and annual close activities to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare, review and post advanced journal entries, including accruals, deferrals and other period‑end adjustments.
• Validate general ledger activity, resolve discrepancies and maintain reliable financial records.
• Supervise account reconciliations to ensure balance‑sheet accuracy.
• Provide schedules, explanations and documentation to internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Monitor compliance with corporate accounting standards and internal policies.
• Identify inefficiencies in the close process and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing month‑end close and related reporting.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially accrual‑based accounting.
• Excellent analytical abilities to investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across accounting and business teams.
