Accountant

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking an Accountant to support its growing Services businesses. The role focuses on executing complex customer contracts, delivering accurate financial results, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute contract billing and invoicing in line with customer agreements and Caterpillar policies.
• Serve as the primary financial contact for assigned contracts and product lines.
• Analyze contract profitability and support asset‑tracking activities.
• Prepare monthly accounting analyses for internal and external reporting.
• Partner with reporting leads and business stakeholders on forecasting activities.
• Perform month‑end close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Research and resolve complex accounting and operational issues.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, product, commercial, and finance teams on business initiatives.
• Support ad‑hoc projects, business reviews, and leadership requests.
