Accountant III

About the role

Mezzo Technologies is seeking an Accountant III to lead complex accounting activities and support financial reporting, compliance and process improvement initiatives. The role will provide technical accounting expertise, mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Manage detailed reconciliations and specialized accounting tasks.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Prepare audit support documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision‑making.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to accounting staff.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, finance and leadership teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• CPA license preferred or equivalent certification.
• Strong analytical, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
