Accountant III – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Accountant III will support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. This position offers direct exposure to leadership and participation in strategic financial initiatives within a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting activities and prepare financial statements for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and analysis.
• Perform financial analysis to aid management decision‑making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align accounting work with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA license preferred or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
