Account Technologist (New College Graduate / Early in Career)

About the role

As an Account Technologist you will support the installation, qualification, and continuous improvement of semiconductor and display manufacturing processes for Applied Materials’ customers. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to apply materials engineering knowledge in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and approve process support plans for installation and warranty periods based on product and process maturity.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement plans (CIP) for the assigned installed base.
• Support local Install Base System Support (BSS) resources during installation and warranty to achieve Customer Process Specification (CPS) or best‑known process performance.
• Train local support service resources to maintain required process knowledge for the installed base.
• Lead installation and qualification of new processes and technologies, including process beta‑sites.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of installed process performance and develop customized processes with customers and support services.
• Organize regular customer process user meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
