Account Representative – Dual Role (Field)

About the role

The Account Representative will work in a dual capacity, handling both collections and sales of financial products for Island Finance. The role combines field visits, telephone outreach, and client counseling to retain existing borrowers and attract new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collection activities for assigned accounts through in‑person visits, phone calls, and the company’s auto‑dialer system.
• Identify client needs and promote appropriate financial products, guiding prospects through the application process.
• Assist borrowers nearing loan payoff to renew their loans with attractive offers.
• Conduct field visits to verify employment and assess delinquent accounts (30+ days past due), proposing payment plans, restructurings, or renewals.
• Ensure all actions comply with applicable regulations such as Reg E, Reg B, Reg Z, and other consumer‑protection laws.

Required profile

• Experience in collections, sales, or customer service within the financial sector.
• Ability to perform field visits and evaluate client documentation.
• Strong communication skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an auto‑dialer system for outbound calls.
