Account Manager – Research Intelligence (Midwest, US)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to drive new sales and renewals for our Research Intelligence portfolio across the Midwest. You will work with academic and research institutions, helping them leverage our SaaS, data analytics and AI solutions to improve research outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve booking targets for Research Intelligence solutions.
• Apply a consultative sales approach to translate client needs into tailored propositions.
• Develop and execute account strategies for a diverse set of customers.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records and use tools such as Clari for forecasting.
• Gather market feedback to inform product development and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
• Build relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of direct sales experience in a consultative, complex‑solution environment.
• Proven ability to operate on operational, tactical and strategic levels.
• Self‑motivated with a track record of expanding business with existing customers.
• Experience selling SaaS, data analytics or AI solutions to academic/research institutions.
