Account Executive – Sports Sales

About the role

The Atlanta Gladiators are seeking a high‑energy, self‑motivated Account Executive to drive ticket sales and fan engagement for events at Gas South Arena. This full‑time position focuses on building relationships, selling season tickets, suites, and group packages, and representing the brand throughout the Atlanta‑Metro area.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute sales calls with current and prospective customers through leads, cold calling, referrals, and Chamber members.
• Deliver a full‑menu sales approach, meeting targets for season tickets, suites, groups, and other ticket products.
• Use Salesforce CRM to manage pipelines, log activities, and generate sales reports (minimum 60 outbound calls per day).
• Utilize Ticketmaster for inventory management and sales processing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product fulfillment and high‑quality customer service.
• Attend weekly sales meetings, scheduled games, and events to promote the brand.
• Network, research competitors, and attend community events to expand the fan base.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in professional sports.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and hours outside a traditional 9‑to‑5 schedule.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a team environment.
• Passion for sports is a plus.
