Account Executive – Public Relations

About the role

TruePoint Communications is seeking an Account Executive to support the execution and day‑to‑day management of client public‑relations accounts. You will work closely with account teams to deliver media outreach, create communications materials, and ensure client programs run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary support for assigned client accounts and develop into a client lead.
• Conduct media relations outreach, draft pitches, advisories, and talk points.
• Secure and coordinate media interviews and events, managing inquiries proactively.
• Accurately report publicity results to internal leadership.
• Maintain daily client relationships, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
• Write and edit high‑quality media, messaging, and marketing collateral.
• Assist in developing strategic PR plans aligned with client goals.
• Maintain systems for tracking client deliverables and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
• Proven media‑relation skills with a track record of securing coverage.
• Strategic thinking and clear communication of concepts to clients and senior team members.
• Professional interaction with high‑level client executives and strong interpersonal skills.
