Account Executive

About the role

Rundoo is a venture‑backed startup modernising independent supply stores with cloud technology. As an Account Executive you will join a high‑growth sales team in Chicago, driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through outbound inside and outside sales tactics.
• Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and negotiate contracts to close new business.
• Travel across your territory (≈50% of the time) to meet customers in‑person and build strong relationships.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales, implementation professionals, and BDRs to ensure smooth onboarding.

Required profile

• Reside in the Chicago/Chicagoland area and be able to work from the office ~50% of the time.
• Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and be comfortable with frequent travel.
• Motivated by quota‑driven sales and have a track record of closing deals.

Required skills

• Experience with outbound sales and full‑cycle SaaS selling.
• Familiarity with the building‑materials or construction‑supply industry is a plus.

What we offer

• Base salary $113,000 plus commission, OTE up to $215,000 with no cap.
