Account Executive – Group Sales

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive group ticket sales across all Player 15 Group venues, including the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Valley Suns and the Mortgage Matchup Center. The role combines outbound prospecting, relationship building and event execution to deliver memorable experiences for group clients.

Key responsibilities

• Generate group ticket revenue through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings and in‑person presentations.
• Exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales targets and activity standards.
• Design customized group packages that boost attendance and engagement.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities via lead generation, referrals, networking events and market research.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and track all activity in the internal CRM system.
• Manage planning, communication and execution of group outings, including hosting clients at games and events.
• Support department initiatives aimed at improving group ticketing strategy.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of outbound sales experience, preferably in ticket sales, B2B, fundraising or hospitality.
• Self‑driven attitude with a disciplined work ethic and a focus on revenue growth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for relationship building.
• Comfortable with cold calling, in‑person meetings and event hosting.
• Ability to work non‑traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
