Account Executive – Cloud & Edge Solutions

About the role

The Account Executive will drive Zenlayer’s growth by prospecting, qualifying and closing new business opportunities for its edge‑cloud platform. You will act as the first point of contact for leads, guiding them through the sales cycle and ensuring a smooth hand‑off to post‑sale support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers through outbound calls, emails and networking tools.
• Present Zenlayer’s edge‑cloud solutions, explaining benefits for latency‑sensitive applications.
• Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals and address technical questions.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular updates to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑5 years of sales experience in cloud computing, web hosting or related technology services.
• Strong communication, investigative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a passion for technology sales.
