Accelerated Lube Technician – Full-Time

About the role

The Accelerated Technician (Lube Technician) will perform quick‑service and routine maintenance on customer vehicles to keep them running safely and efficiently. This full‑time, onsite position is based at Nissan of Greenville, a Sonic Automotive family dealership.

Key responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top‑offs.
• Inspect tires, patch as needed, and check air pressure.
• Replace air and cabin filters.
• Check and top‑off brake, transmission, coolant and other vehicle fluids.
• Conduct quick inspections of belts, hoses, and basic components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure equipment (especially lifts) is operational.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a technician’s helper, apprentice, or lube technician in a dealership or service shop.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and fluid checks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and customers.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to undergo drug testing, background check and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
