About the role
Prep Academy Tutors is seeking enthusiastic Academic Tutors to work one‑on‑one with K‑12 students in San Antonio, Boerne, and New Braunfels. Tutors will deliver personalized, curriculum‑aligned support either in‑home or online.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic support aligned with Texas state curriculum.
- Create supplemental assignments to deepen understanding.
- Offer remedial and enrichment assistance tailored to each student.
- Communicate progress regularly with parents or guardians.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree and at least one of: Texas teaching certificate, student‑teacher status, 2+ years private/charter teaching, university lecturing experience, or graduate teaching‑assistant experience.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced in teaching.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and work with families.
