About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a Volunteer Faculty member to serve as an Academic Assistant Professor. This appointment, made through the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), focuses on delivering fellowship didactics and education for Palliative Care Fellows.

Key responsibilities

Provide didactic teaching and educational support to Palliative Care Fellows.
Participate in academic activities and curriculum development within the Internal Medicine Palliative Care department.
Maintain compliance with UAMS vaccination policies and legal work authorization requirements.

Required profile

Approved appointment action for the academic role.
Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Commitment to the volunteer faculty model and collaborative academic environment.
