966 Loader Operator – Plywood Mill

About the role

The 966 Loader Operator works in a plywood mill environment, moving logs throughout the woodyard and onto the manufacturing line. This full‑time, onsite position requires reliable equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, and strong teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 966 loader to unload trucks, stack logs in the yard, and load logs onto the production line.
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and schedule adherence.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in an industrial setting, preferably with a 966 loader.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good judgment, safety‑first mindset, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb frequently.
