About the role

We are seeking a dedicated 6th‑grade teacher to join our elementary school in Phoenix for the 2026‑2027 school year. The incumbent will deliver the district‑approved curriculum, foster a supportive learning environment, and collaborate with parents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Arizona State standards and district curriculum.
• Diagnose student learning needs and provide individualized or small‑group instruction.
• Maintain regular communication with parents through newsletters, notes, calls, and conferences.
• Establish and enforce classroom management procedures to ensure a safe and engaging atmosphere.
• Assess student progress, keep records, and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate teacher aides, volunteers, and field‑trip activities.
• Integrate technology into lessons and create attractive learning displays.

Required profile

• Valid Arizona Department of Education teaching certification for the position.
• Arizona Department of Public Safety Identified Verified Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Commitment to ethical behavior, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
