About the role
This position is for a full‑time 5th grade teacher on a ten‑month (198‑day) temporary contract. The workday runs from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, totaling 7.5 hours per day. The teacher will report directly to the school principal and will follow the district’s salary schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the 5th grade curriculum across core subjects.
- Plan, prepare, and execute daily lesson plans.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff on school initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum educational requirement).
- Valid teaching certification or eligibility as required by the district.
- Ability to work full‑time during the specified hours.
