2nd Shift S&S Operator

About the role

AHF Products is seeking a reliable 2nd‑shift S&S Operator to work in its Crossville, TN facility. The role involves operating and maintaining tile production lines, handling materials, and ensuring quality standards are met during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Verify tile sizes, bevels, and line settings; perform 5S and TPM checks.
• Maintain line operation, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Maintenance when needed.
• Hand‑load, box, and transport tiles; operate tow motor, forklift, and hand jack.
• Repair or replace worn parts, stones, and bevels; adjust guides and blades for size changes.
• Create and apply labels for boxes and pallets; scan, wrap, and move full pallets to the CDC.
• Sort defective pallets for store or scrap, empty hoppers daily, and report shift hand‑over issues.
• Cross‑train on other positions such as sorter and use the Gemba board for communication.
• Participate in Kaizen initiatives and uphold safety, housekeeping, and paperwork standards.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Strong organizational attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Positive attitude, solid work ethic, and good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and other shifts as needed.
• Pass pre‑employment drug test, physical exam, and background check.
