2nd Shift Set Up Operator – $22.52/hr + Shift Premium

About the role

Join the Shelbyville manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Set Up Operator. You will work on‑site, ensuring machines run smoothly and product flow meets service level goals while supporting a safe and efficient workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment.
• Maintain proper product flow to meet service level targets.
• Uphold a safe work environment and follow 6S principles.
• Ensure all products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Complete required documentation, labeling, and handling of scrap, rework, and mixed product.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use basic tools, equipment, and gauges.
• Capability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull 5–25 lb.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Flexibility to work overtime on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm‑11:30 pm).
