2nd Shift Molder – Manufacturing

About the role

Moog is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Molder to join its manufacturing team in Murphy, NC. You will work on a rotating shift schedule, handling the full cycle of mold preparation, production, and part finishing. The role offers a stable environment with competitive benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and prepare molds for each production run.
• Load molding compounds, including epoxy glass, into the molding equipment.
• Operate and monitor molding machines according to standard procedures.
• Safely remove finished parts from molds and perform initial cleaning.
• Inspect parts for quality, trim to specifications, and conduct occasional precision punching.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
