Youth Service Manager

About the role

The Youth Service Manager joins DREAM’s Employee & Member Support team to lead community‑based youth programs that close the opportunity gap for youth living in affordable‑housing communities. This full‑time, salaried role oversees mentorship, out‑of‑school activities, and partnership engagement across the year‑round program.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain high‑quality, community‑based relationships with volunteers, youth, caregivers, and partners.
• Lead program delivery year‑round, ensuring youth receive mentorship, high attendance, enrichment activities, and personal growth.
• Support seasonal transitions between school‑year and summer programming, designing daily activities that combat the “summer slide.”
• Communicate regularly with mentors, parents, partners, and the broader community through weekly updates, reports to the Board, and partnership building.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience managing staff, volunteers or service members.
• 2+ years experience in youth‑development organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse lived experiences.
• Familiarity with AmeriCorps grant requirements and mentoring program regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Google Workspace (Gsuite) and email communication.
• Database management experience.
• Familiarity with accounting software.

• Salary range $45,526‑$50,078 (total compensation up to $59,000) with overtime exempt.
