About the role

Join the YMCA as a seasonal Youth Basketball Referee and help teach kids the fundamentals of the game while ensuring a safe, fair playing environment.

Required profile

Fun, engaging, and welcoming attitude
Early, punctual, and reliable
Ability to take constructive criticism and learn quickly
Confidence in self and policy enforcement
Strong relationship‑building skills to diffuse tense situations
Alert and safety‑oriented, prioritizing player safety
